i live in north idaho. new here. i need some questions answered that i cant seem to find. anybody know where i can find spec archives on the old bikes. i want to get a mid late 90's rockhopper and rebuild it from the ground up with everything new. only problem is i cant find any old specs on the bikes. i want to compare it to a hard rock cause they are everywhere and really cheap also. right now i have an 07 rockhopper and an 06 kona stinky sitting in my livingroom but no other bike i ever rode was as nice as my old 97 rockhopper fs with a bunch of upgrades. i just like that frame the best from back then, so maybe if the hardrock isnt too much different then ill go that way. thankyou for any help

Hi dom,

Welcome to the forum! I split off your topic from the welcome thread so it got the attention it deserves.

Check out http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=1995&Brand=Specialized&Model=Rockhopper&Type=bike

You can get high level specs on that site for most bikes. Hope that helps. Have any pics of the bikes? Please keep us up to date with progress on the rebuild...
